Plug the accessory plug into the accessory connector.

Snap the strain relief clip, which is already threaded over the speaker cable and other
accessory wires (if any), into the slot at the back of the radio.

Ensure that the plastic guides are aligned (horizontal) to the transceiver grooves.

Slide the radio into the plastic guides until it snaps into place.
6.
Secure the radio with the two wing screws provided.

After mounting the antenna (see page 11), run the antenna coaxial cable to the radio
mounting location. If necessary, cut off the excess cable.
8.
Connect the antenna cable connector to the BNC antenna connector at the rear of the
radio (see Figure 8). Ensure that the antenna's cable connector is fully tightened. DO
NOT use an adaptor between the antenna cable connector and the radio.
