To exit the Message M ode, the terminal key-
board must be in lower case.

14 DISCONTINUE OPERATION

14.00 Local Terminal

14.01 Exit current operating mode via Paragraph
13 and observe that the MODE prompt is displayed
on the terminal.

Q U I T CR and 14.12 To discontinue remote operation:
1) Take the terminal off-line.
2) Verify that the modem drops the line.
