8.00 General
8.01 Each CO Line Unit (PCOU) PCB adds four
CO lines to the system. The PCOU provides Ring
Detection, Dial Outpulsing, and Hold, as well as
Automatic Busy Redial circuitry. Each CO line can
be programmed for Dual-tone Multi-frequency
(DTMF) or dial pulse. Depending on system con-
figuration, DK24 can support up to four PCOUs,
DK56 up to five, and DK96 up to nine.
NOTE:
There are two PCOU versions (1 and 2). They
are identical in fit/form/function and are inter-
changeable in all DK system models.

nectors are shown in Figure 6-9 and described in
Table 6-E.
