ENGINE
WATER/OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY
35. Press new bearing onto the shaft.

36. Press the bearing/shaft assembly using the
bearing's outer race. Do not use the shaft to press
the assembly into the housing, as bearing
damage may result. Install retaining ring.

37. Press gear onto shaft while supporting the
housing.

38. Remove thrust plate (U).
39. Remove PTO end engine mount.
crankcase bolts. Tap on the reinforced areas on
the cases using soft hammer. Carefully separate
the two crankcase halves.

Only remove the oil baffle if the baffle is
NOTE:
damaged. When removing the oil baffle bolts, use a
heat gun to heat the bolts and loosen the Loctitet.
This will prevent any possible damage to the bolts or
to the crankcase casting.
40. Remove and clean oil pick up (V) and oil baffle
weldment (W).
