Talla merkkivalolla on kaksi saatbtoimin -
taa, suuntasaatb ja kaltevussaatb.

(1) Ala saada merkkivaloa geomagneettisessa myrskyssa .
(2) Jos akku on ollut irrotettuna korjauksen , tarkastuksen jne
aikana , suorita suuntasaatb uudelleen.
(3) Jos on tehty virhe merkkivalon ka sittelyssa, pysayta ajo -
neuvo turvalliseen paikkaan .

How to read the indicator indica-
tions
Ind ications given when the vehicle is
going north
The illustration shows that th e vehi c le is
facing northeast.
Indications given when the vehicle is
going south.
Th e illustration shows that the vehicle is
facing true south .
Adjustment of the indicator
This indicator has two adjustment func -
tions, namely, azimuth adjustment and
declination adjustment functions .
(1) Do not make indicator adjustment when caught in a
geomagnetic storm.
(2) When the battery has been disconnected during repair,
inspection , etc., be sure to make azimuth adjustment .
(3) If a mistake is made in indicator handling , stop the veh;cle
in a safe place.
Then start the engine again , and the indicator will return to
the original azimuth indication.
