4. Using the MAX Web Manager
Each of the various configuration pages is accessed by clicking its link on the Site Map. For example
click the Port Config link to access the Port Configuration page, illustrated below.
4.1 Port Configuration

The Port Configuration page' s Address Table Configuration sheet shows the MAX 4' s current hardware
and port configurations. The Interface Type, Physical and Logical Port Numbers, and their Local
Addresses are listed.
The Interface Type column does not pertain to the MAX 4, since its ports are all FXS type ports.
The Local Address serves only as the source text for identification in the System Log Messages (see
Section 4.7, Current System Log Messages). The user can modify the local addresses Logical Port
Numbers are used in configuring the Current Routing Table, discussed later in this Guide (Section 4.3).
