4R1: Safety - Equipment Listing
This vessel is equipped with complete safety equipment, detailed on page 1.11.
4R2: Safety - Fire Suppression System
The boat has a fire suppression system built in to the engine room. It
is thermostatically operated, and if it operates because of a fire, it shuts down
the engine lest all the fire suppressant be ingested by the running engine's air
requirements. A display to left of the helm indicates if the system is "Ready";
the green light should be lit, indicating the system is "armed" and ready for
engine use.
4R3: Safety - Safety Panel
This panel on the lower helm and another
similar one on the flybridge will alert you to
several anomalies in the boat's systems, or if
you have left some lights on that could run down
your batteries.
There is also a switch here for the (red)
recessed map lights above the helm.
