Media Pre-Filter
Th e multi-media fi lter traps suspended solids larger than 30 microns
to provide additional protection for the system's pre-fi lters, which can
greatly extend pre-fi lter element life. It is fi lled with three types of fi lter
media.
Th e only needed service is to fl ush it if the pressure diff erential on the
PSI fi lters is more than 4-5 PSI.
Valve Settings for Various Operations
Normal Operations
Backwash Media Filter
Filter Rinse
Set the handles as shown and back
fl ush for 4-5 minutes.
