In general, when not on the boat, you'll have the green items above (Main DC, Saloon Lights,
and Bilge Pump breakers) "On" (the bilge pumps will be in the left, "Auto" position).
When you are aboard, you'll also have the yellow items above also "On".
The red items should be "On" only if you need/are using those items.
The two bilge pump switches control the operation of each pump as follows: In the "AUTO"
position, the pump is controlled by its own float switch. This is the normal position for these switches.
In the "ON" position the pump is running under the operator's control; this might be used to test the
pumps, or to see how much water is in the bilge.
