Fresh Water System
Overview
Tank Locations
OceanFlyer carries 515 gallons [1950 liters] distributed among three
tanks:
1. Forward Tank
2. Center Tank
3. Aft Tank
It is unlikely that you will need to access the fresh water tanks
themselves. Th e mostly likely reason would be to check or change the
status of the shutoff valves.
Th e Forward Tank is located under the forward companionway. Th e
shutoff valve for the tank is forward from the engine room sink next to
the forward sump.
Th e Center Tank is located under the 20kW generator. Th e shutoff
valve is located low on the forward facing tank wall. To access the valve,
the workbench must be raised to provide access.
Th e Aft Tank is located in the lazerette under the fl oor boards.
Th e aft tank is the highest in the system so it will drain fi rst, then the
forward tank and lastely, the center tank.
