5. Adjusting the Running Belt

Place treadmill on a level surface. Run
treadmill at approximately 4-6km/h, checking
the running condition.
A
If the belt has drifted to the right: turn the right
adjusting bolt 1/4 turn clockwise. Then start the
treadmill until belt centers. Repeat until the belt
correctly centers. Picture A
If the belt has drifted to the left: turn the right
B
adjusting bolt 1/4 turn clockwise. Then start the
treadmill until belt centers. Repeat until the belt
correctly centers. Picture B

To adjust the tightness of the belt: turn both
the left and right adjusting bolt 1/4 turn
clockwise. Then start the treadmill until belt
centers. Repeat until the belt correctly tightens.
