ARCHIVING DATA TO DAT

Selecting AUDIO DAT in the BACKUP page takes you to this page:
Here you may backup the contents of your disk to a normal DAT machine via the digital
audio I/O.
To connect your DAT machine, connect either the MIX A or MIX B digital outputs of the
DD1500 (you can select which ones you will use in the DAT OPTIONS page) to the digital
audio input of the DAT recorder.
The parameters in the ARCHIVE page are:
FROM DISK
ARCHIVE TYPE
NOTE: When ALL PROJECTS, ALL LIBRARIES, ALL FILES and DUPLICATE DISK are
selected, the FILE TYPE and FILE NAME fields are not shown.

This selects which disk you will archive.
Here you may select the type of item you wish to archive.
The options are:
SINGLE FILE
This allows you to select a single file for
archiving. When SINGLE FILE is
selected, FILE TYPE and FILE NAME
fields appear below the ARCHIVE
TYPE field where you may select the
type and the file for archiving.
The SINGLE FILE option is very
convenient for archiving single projects
to DAT.
ALL PROJECTS
This will archive all projects and any
audio associated with them.
ALL LIBRARIES
This will archive all libraries and any
audio associated with them.
ALL FILES
This will archive all projects and libraries
and any audio associated with them. It
will not archive any unreferenced audio.
ALL LIBRARIES
This will archive all libraries and any
audio associated with them.
DUPLICATE DISK This makes a complete copy of
everything on the disk to the DAT.
