Creating and Configuring Accounts for VoIP Providers

Requirements
– Setup assistant started (All apps > Settings > Setup assistant)
– Account configured at a VoIP provider and knowledge of the access data
Steps to Take
1.
Tap on New account.
2.
Tap on the profile of the required VoIP provider (e.g. sipgate.prov).
3.
In the Username entry field, enter the username specified by the VoIP pro-
vider.
Tip: By tapping the entry field, you can fade in the Android keyboard on the
display. If you press the Back key, the Android keyboard will be faded out,
once more.
4.
Tap on Authentication ID and then enter the authorisation ID specified by
the VoIP provider.
Note:If your VoIP provider did not issue you with an authentication ID, sim-
ply leave this field empty.
5.
Tap on OK.
Tip: Tap on the buttons to the left on the display to go back to one of the
previous configuration steps, if required.
6.
In the Password entry field, enter the password specified by the VoIP pro-
vider.
7.
Tap on OK.
8.
Select the country code for the location of the account in the list field.
9.
Tap on Area code and then enter the area code for the location of the ac-
count.
10.
Tap on Numbers and then enter the telephone number specified by the
VoIP provider.
11.
Tap on OK.
12.
Tap on Default account (standard).
Note:If another account (e.g. a system telephone account) has already
been selected as the default account, select the Not default account
option.
