9. Position the rear edge plate.

Remove the rear edge plate from its storage slot and fit it into the
cassette to set the desired paper size.
The rear edge plate is not needed to set the paper size to 11" x 17"
(double letter size).

10. Set the paper size detection spacer.

Change the position of the paper size detection spacer to match the
desired paper size.

11. Change the paper size indicator.

Remove the paper size indicator and reinsert it to show the paper
size for which the cassette has been set in the paper size indicator
window.
Note that paper sizes are printed on both sides of the paper size
indicator.
12. Fit the paper cassette guides into the guide
rails.
Insert the paper cassette by fitting the guides of the paper cassette
into the guide rails.
When doing this, insert the paper cassette all the way in so that the
cassette's left guide roller goes past the stopper on the guide rail.

13. Mount the right stopper.

Fit the right stopper into the notch in front of the paper cassette's right
guide roller as shown in the figure.
When doing this, confirm that the right side of the paper cassette is
locked.
