3. Replacing the Ozone Filter

The purpose of the ozone filter is to suppress emitting ozone from the
machine, which is generated during corona discharge in the charger
units. In order to maintain this effect, the ozone filter requires to be
replaced every 80,000 sheets of copy paper.

(1) Replacing the suction ozone filter

Copying/standby

Use key operator program No.75 to inhibit automatic duplex copy
Cancel: If the power is turned on/off without canceling the error the machine goes into the
ready mode but the message is displayed again when the duplex mode is selected

Service maintenance is performed
The remote diagnosis function is operated. If copying is
disabled during communication between the machine and
the host computer the following message is displayed.
(In normal cases copying takes priorty)
"Wait for a while. Data is being transmitted to service."
During measurement of process control sensor
Copying is disabie during feedback process control and
the following message is displayed
"Wait for a while. Pictur quality is adjusted."
