Be sure all controlsare OFF and all range parts are cool before cleaning.
How to Remove
Range for Cleaning
and Servicing
Foflowthese proceduresto remove appliancefor cleaning or servicing.
1. Shut-offgas supplyto appliance.
2. Disconnectelectricalsupplyto appliance, if equipped.
3. Disconnectgas supplytubingto appliance.
4. Slide rangeforwardto disengagerangefromthe anti-tipbracket. (See Installation
Instructionsfor locationof bracket.)
5. Reverse procedureto reinstall. If gas line has been disconnected, c heckfor gas
leaks after reconnection. (See InstallationInstructions for gas leak test method.)
Note: A qualifiedservicershoulddisconnectand reconnectthe gassupply. To prevent
rangefrom accidently tipping,range mustbe securedto the floorby slidingrear
levelingleg into an anti-tipbracketsuppliedwith the range.
WARNING: Possible risksmay resultfromabnormalusage,including excessiveloading
of the oven door and of the risk of tip over, shouldthe appliance not be
reinstalledaccordingto the installation instructions.
Range
The rangetopisdesignedwithtwocontoured wellswhichcontainspillsuntiltheycan be
wipedup. Unlikethe standardgas appliance,THIS RANGETOP DOES NOT LIFT-UP
NOR IS IT REMOVABLE. To prevent damage to the gas tubing or top, do not attempt
to lift rengetop.
Never wipe a warm or hot pomelain enamel sufface with a damp cloth. For general daily
cleaning and light soil, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. To remove grease
spatters, spray with cleaners such as Fantastik or 409. DO NOT use abrasive or caustic
cleaning agents which may permanently damage the finish.
