These keys have four active areas that are indicated by the arrows.

• When a function does not appear above a soft key, the soft key will not work.

hroughout these Operating Instructions, the soft keys are indicated by the
function icons, such as
Lighted handset keypad
The dialing buttons will light when you press a button or lift the cordless handset off
the charger. The light will go out after a few seconds.

• Scrolls up the function menu, Caller List and
the directory list.
• Increases the volume.
• Scrolls down the function menu, Caller List and
the directory list.
• Decreases the volume.
• Selects your menu choices, enters the directory
list or moves the cursor forward.
• Enters the directory list, returns to the previous
display or moves the cursor backward.
Three soft keys are used to select functions displayed
directly above the keys. Functions displayed above the

keys will change depending on the state of use.
For example, on the left display, "
