Subtest 05 Memory module
NOTE: To execute this subtest, an optional memory card must be installed
in the computer.
This subtest functions the same as Subtest 04, except it is used for testing an
optional memory card. Memory module capacity is 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB
and 64 MB.
After selecting Subtest 05, the following message will appear:
Extended memory size (1:8 MB,2:16 MB,3:32 MB,4:64 MB)?
Select the number that corresponds to the memory card installed in the com-
puter.
Subtest 06 Cache memory
To test the cache memory, a pass-through write-read comparison of '5A' data
is run repeatedly to test area ('7000':'Program' size to '7000':'7FFF' (32 KB)) to
check the hit-miss ratio (on/off status). One test takes three seconds.
Subtest 07 L2 Cache memory
To test the cache memory, a pass-through write-read comparison of '5A' data
is run repeatedly to test area ('7000':'Program' size to '7000':'7FFF' (32 KB)) to
check the hit-miss ratio (on/off status). One test takes 3 seconds.
