Error Code Check
If the microprocessor detects a malfunction, the DC IN icon blinks orange. The blink pattern
indicates an error as shown below.
Start
Error code (8 bit)

An error code begins with the least significant digit.
Example: Error code 12h (Error codes are given in hexadecimal notations)
Check 1
Convert the DC IN icon blink pattern into the hexadecimal error code and com-
pare it to the tables below.

On for one second
On for half second
Off for half second
Meaning
AC adapter voltage is over the limit (16.5 V).
Desk Station V Plus or Enhanced Port Replicator II DC output voltage
is over the limit (16.5 V).
Current from the DC power supply is over the limit (3.27 A).
Current from the DC power supply is over the limit (0.5 A) when there
is no load.
Meaning
Battery voltage is over the limit.
Battery over voltage signal is received.
Battery charge current is over the limit.
Battery discharge is over current.
