3.2 Executing the Diagnostic Test
Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the Diagnostic program. To start the program, follow
the steps listed below:
1. Insert the Diagnostics disk in the computer's floppy disk drive and turn on the
computer. (The Diagnostics disk contains the MS-DOS boot files.)
The following menu will appear:

DIAGNOSTICS MENU :
1 - DIAGNOSTIC TEST
2 - HARD DISK FORMAT
3 -
4 - HEAD CLEANING
5 - LOG UTILITIES
6 - RUNNING TEST
7 - FDD UTILITIES
8 - SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
9 - EXIT TO MS-DOS
0 - SETUP
NOTE: To exit the DIAGNOSTIC TEST, press the Esc key. If a test program
is in progress, press Ctrl + Break to exit the test program, or press Ctrl + C to
stop the program.
