Port (Fischer) Connectors

Figure 2.5 shows the pin layout for all the serial ports.

Pin
1 12 volts output
2 Ground
3 Clear To Send input
4 Request To Send Output
5 Receive Data input
6 Transmit Data output
7 This pin has the one-pulse-per-second output and the event marker input for
ports B and C respectively. For port A, do not connect any signals; this pins is
for factory use only.
Do not connect or disconnect power or signal cables from the Z-Xtreme while
power is applied. Possible injury and/or equipment damage may occur.
