Turn your display's Brightness and Contrast
controls fully clockwise. (If your display has a
Power control, turn the control on.)

Turn all externally attached devices' (printer,
TV, etc.) power on.

Turn your system unit's power on.
Note: Remember the four events that take
place during Power-On Self Test (POST).
Post completes in 13 to 90 seconds.
Go to step 8.
