System Testing
Tests are run only on the options you have attached to
your IBM Personal Computer AT. This manual
however has instructions for tests on all the options
available for the IBM Personal Computer AT.
Before a test runs, the test number is displayed on the
screen. When the test number is on the screen, turn to
the same test in this manual and follow the instructions.
The test page numbers will be the same as the test
number on the screen.
You are now ready to begin testing your system unit. If
you have not formatted a diskette for each drive, go to
the "Diskette Format Procedures" earlier in this section
before beginning" System Testing".
During the system tests, you may be asked to record an
error. This information is needed to assist you in getting
your system serviced.
