Follow the directions for the typematic and
keyboard status light test.
1. Press and hold any key. The corresponding
character flashes on the screen.
2. Press and release the Caps Lock, N um Lock,
~
and the Scroll Lock. The squares in the
upper right corner of your screen change
intensity. Also verify that the status lights on
your keyboard go off.
If
steps 1 and 2 of the typematic test works
correctly:
1. Press Y.
2. Then press
Enter
(....-J ).
3. Press
Enter (....-J)
again and refer to the
screen for the next test.
If
steps 1 and 2 of the typematic test failed:
1. Press N.
2. Then press
Enter (....-J).
3. Note the error and have your keyboard
serviced.
