Notes:
1. If you installed an all-black ribbon, set DIP (Dual
In-Line Package) Switch 7 On. This causes the
ribbon to shift one ribbon band at the end of each
page to extend the life of the ribbon.
2.
If
you have installed a four-color ribbon, check the
setting of DIP (Dual In-Line Package) Switch 7.
It
must be set Off to prevent the ribbon from shifting
one ribbon band at the end of each page.
If you need help setting DIP Switch 7, refer to "DIP
Switch Settings" later in this section.
