TIME/DATE SYNCHRONIZE
Clicking the Time/Date Synchronize button will send a time/date string command from the
scheduler computer to the player. Be very careful, because the time on the player will be
changed to exactly what is on the scheduler—so, if your player is in Germany, your controller is
in Kansas City and you Time/Date Synchronize, your player in Germany will be about seven
hours wrong.
Also, MX players are factory set to auto-sync time with atomic time as long as they are
connected to the Internet and have access to web sites.
If you need to Time/Date Synchronize simply click the TIME/DATE SYNCHRONIZE button.
You will receive a message if the attempt was successful or not.
PLAYER MAINTENANCE
The PLAYER MAINTENANCE Instant Control will connect to designated player and delete all
motion video files (mpg, wmv, vob, avi) that are not in a current set or schedule. This allows
you to clear large amounts of storage space on the player remotely.
To access the PLAYER MAINTENANCE function, click
COMMUNICATIONS and select INSTANT EVENTS/CONTROLS
