6.6.6 Network Test
The Ping utility is useful in diagnosing connectivity problems by obtaining responses from nodes
progressively farther along the network. DNS functionality can also be confirmed by entering a
valid DNS name instead of an IP address.
To verify basic network connectivity between the NVR and other LAN or WAN nodes, click the
Ping button.
