(3) Install valve guide to cylinder head.
• Heat cylinder head to a temperature of 80 – 100°C (176
– 212°F).
Apply heat uniformly so that head will not be distorted.
• Use special tools to drive new valve guide into hole.
Drive in new valve guide until special tool (valve guide in-
staller attachment) contacts cylinder head.
• After installing, check valve guide protrusion H .

Standard :
IN & EX 14.0 mm (0.55 in.)
(4) Ream valve guide bore with
09916-34550 : Valve guide reamer ( 5.5 mm)
09916-34542 : Reamer handle
NOTE:
Clean and oil valve guide bore after reaming.
5.5 mm reamer.
