Viewing cursor position in local datum of an ARCS chart
On demand you can view the cursor position in local datum of an ARCS chart. This is useful when you need to refer
to the corresponding paper chart. You can access ARCS details with the Details button in the chart legend of ARCS.
In this example WGS-84 shift is defined for the
current ARCS chart.
The Cursor Position window shows cursor
position in local ARCS chart datum (indicated
as Local Datum) and in WGS-84 datum as
defined in the used ARCS chart (indicated as
WGS84 Chart).
Note: The Cursor window, below the ARCS
Details dialog box, always shows cursor
position in operator-chosen working datum.
In this example WGS-84 shift is not defined for
the current ARCS chart.
The Cursor Position window shows cursor
position only in local ARCS chart datum
(indicated as Local Datum).
Note: The Cursor window, below the ARCS
Details dialog box, shows the warning "WGS
undefi" to indicate that the system is unable to
do a correct transformation from local ARCS
chart datum to the operator-chosen working
datum.
