Viewing notes of ARCS chart
The operator can choose a desired item from the combo box in the ARCS Details dialog box in order to view notes
for that item. After choosing the item from the Notes combo box, click the Notes... button, and a text window
appears. To close the window, click the X at the right corner of the display.
Using Source Data Diagram (SDD)
A Source Data Diagram (SDD) consists of two parts: a graphic showing the areas covered by each type of source
material from which the chart was compiled, and a tabulation, keyed to a graphic, giving details of source dates and
scales. The layout of the graphic corresponds to the layout of the chart, and the borders of the diagram equate to the
limits of the chart panels. If this option is chosen, on the ARCS Details dialog box, it is possible to click by the
cursor ARCS chart to plot origin on SDD. If plot positions on SDD are not active, there is no SDD on the chart.
