Throttle blip
There is no mechanical connection between the accelerator pedal the the
throttle valve. The pedal as well as the throttle valve are equipped with
two potentiometers (redundancy)
The characteristics of the accelerator pedal (ratio pedal angle - throttle
valve angle) can be adjusted by the Bosch Modas system. One can s
between three different characteristics (1 ... less aggressive, 3 ...
aggressive). This is carried out via the parameter CWDVEKF (in Modas:
Engine Dashboard).

When dow

Therefore, it is not necessary for the driver to apply the throttle blip when
downshifting.
