2. Install
• brake arm cam
• brake arm
9 Nm( 0.9 m•kg, 6.5ft•lb)
TIP
• Install the brake arm cam so its punch mark
is positioned as shown.

• Align the punch mark in the brake arm cam with
the mark on the brake arm.
• Brake disk
• Rear brake cable
• brake arm operation
TIP
• When installing the brake disk, align the groove
of the brake disk with the projection of
the steering knuckle.
• Check that the brake shoes are properly posi-
tioned.
Front fork.
Swing arm.
3. Adjust
• front brake
• rear brake
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE FRONT BRAKE
REAR BRAKE"
in chapter 3.
