13.4 Error messages
If the machine encounters a problem, an error dialog will appear and display one of the following error mes-
sages. Take corrective actions by referring to the table below.
If a communication error persists, please contact your service representative.

[Memory Full (FAX)]
[Insufficient memory. Check sta-
tus.]
[Fax TX Failed]
[Fax TX failed due to error at dial-
ing.

Cause
The machine has been left off-
hook after a manual transmis-
sion.
The memory is full.
An error occurred while a fax
(G3) is being sent.
An error occurred while a fax
(G3) is being received.
Multiple destinations were
specified for polling reception.
An error occurred while receiv-
ing PC-FAX TX data.
A PC-FAX transmission is pro-
hibited on this machine.
An error occurred while an Inter-
net Fax is being sent.
An error occurred while an Inter-
net Fax is being received.
The memory is coming to an in-
sufficient state.
The number of requested jobs
exceeds the number of registra-
ble jobs.
Remedy
Put the machine back on-hook.
If a fax is being sent, send the
scanned document pages. Oth-
erwise, send the fax manually.
If a fax is being received, print
the received documents saved
in the memory.
This error is automatically
cleared.
This error is automatically

Multiple destinations cannot be
specified for polling reception.
Try performing the operation
again with only one destination
specified.
