Command-line interface and

Script Editor

All Storage Manager functions available through the Subsystem Management window can

also be performed and sent to an IBM System Storage DS storage subsystem using

statements in scripts. The Script Editor can be used to create or edit a script file, save a script

file to the Storage Manager station's local disk, or load a script file from disk. The

command-line interface (CLI) can also be used to issue individual commands to the scripting
