Displaying arrays and logical drives
After creating the arrays and logical drives, the Logical view of the Subsystem Management
window shows the status of the current configuration for arrays and logical drives, as shown in
Figure 4-63.

Notice that after creating a logical drive that the disk space is initialized, and shows a clock
icon to the right of its name. The right frame shows the properties for the selected logical drive
or array, with details about the initialization's progress in the lower part of the window. Be
aware that even during the initialization process, the logical drive is immediately available for
access if mapped.
