Contact information Provide shipping information for sending the appliance to your site and contact information to enable IBM to contact your staff if a problem occurs. Be sure to include country codes for the phone number. Location of the appliance Provide the number of the analog phone line to be connected to the modem adapter in the appliance.
Heartbeat access permissions Indicate whether heartbeat checks are permitted. During a heartbeat check, IBM Service dials into the appliance to verify that the phone line and appliance are operational. There is no access to any DS4000 storage server during a heartbeat check. You may choose to permit or not permit calls to the appliance to perform these checks.
