Description/Causes
Error occurred while trying to
initialize printer.
Ink carriage motor timing area.
Usually occurs along with
2443 error when the system is
rebooted.
The print carriage is not mov-
ing correctly or is jammed.
This may also happen during

Weight capacity was not down-
loaded.
The system is not processing
rates correctly.

Resolution
If error occurs during install, check that all
shipping tape has been removed from the
system.
Remove the power cord. Wait three min-
utes and reconnect power.
Make sure the ink cartridge cover is
closed.
See instructions for error 2443.
Reboot system. If this fails to clear the er-
ror, remove power for three minutes.
Check the order to verify that weight ca-
pacity was ordered. Follow local process
to have DLA reset. Advise customer to
perform download after 4 hours.
