(1) Use a scraper to clean the gasket surface of the cylin-

21. CONNECTION OF HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL HOSE
When connecting the high-pressure fuel hose to the fuel
rail, apply a coating of engine oil to the hose union, and in-
sert so that the O-ring is not damaged.
