Electra Elite IPK II
Terminals:
– An Electra Elite IPK II ITH 4D/8D/16D-2/3 button multiline IP telephone.
IP Phone
– An IP adapter connected to a multiline terminal.
IP Adapter
The telephone with the adapter installed is also called the Dterm IP telephone.
Power must be supplied to the IP Phone or the Electra Elite IPK II multiline terminal with IP adapter
using either a local or central power supply. If a power outage occurs, the IP telephones do not work
unless the telephones are plugged into a UPS (uninterruptible power supply).
When the first IP telephone is plugged in, the system automatically assigns the next three consecutive
station ports available as IP ports. The next three IP telephones installed use this group of ports. When
the fifth IP telephone is connected, the next three consecutive station ports available are assigned as IP
ports.
Switches/Hubs for PoE
If PoE (power over ethernet) is used to eliminate the separate power adapters, due to the power
requirements, a separate power source is suggested.
Each IP telephone consumes one port. When automatically selected, the port number ranges from 1~256.
