Status Display

The Status Display shows messages about the operating status of the P2 card
and this unit. Take action as appropriate for each status.

CARD FULL
CARD PROTECT The write-protect switch of the P2 card is set to "PROTECT".
VUP CARD
UNFORMATTED
REFORMAT
RUNDOWN
ILLEGAL CARD • An unusable card is inserted.
NO CARD
READ ERROR
META ERROR
PLAY ERROR

8 GB or lower capacity P2 cards:
The following conditions may have occurred.
• There is no space left on the P2 card.
• The P2 cards inserted in P2 card slots 1 and 2 contain
20,000 or more files.
Replace the P2 card with a P2 card with free capacity, or
free up space in the P2 card for new data.
16 GB or higher capacity P2 cards:
The following conditions may have occurred.
• There is no space left on the P2 card.
• The P2 cards inserted in P2 card slots 1 and 2 contain
20,000 or more files.
• The maximum number of files that can be recorded has
been exceeded for that day.
• The number of recording days has been exceeded
Replace the P2 card with a P2 card with free capacity, or
back up the data on the P2 card and reformat it.
Move the switch to enable writing.
Writing is not possible on a P2 card intended for version
upgrade. Replace the card with one that is not intended for
version upgrade.
The P2 card is not formatted. Replace it with a formatted card.
P2 card data has been modified on another device.
Upload or export data to back it up and reformat the card.
A P2 card is nearing the end of its service life.
While it will still be possible to record and play back a P2 card after
this message has appeared, you are recommended to replace it.
Check the type of card.
• The inserted P2 card cannot be recognized.
Replace it with a compatible card.
• The P2 card is not inserted correctly.
Remove and re-insert the card correctly.
No P2 card is inserted. Insert a P2 card.
An error occurred while reading. File playback is not possible,
or the associated meta information cannot be displayed
correctly.
No associated meta information file exists. The information
cannot be displayed.
A decoder malfunction occurred. Playback is not available.
Reboot this unit.
