Installation in PRIMECENTER/DataCenter rack

CAUTION!
Due to the heavy weight, at least two people and a suitable lifter are
required to install/remove the server in/from the rack.
For installation in a PRIMECENTER/DataCenter rack, the following parts are
required:
Support bracket
One support system on the left and one on the right
Centering screws (screws with integrated plug washers)

support system. For other support systems you will find the
appropriate description in the packaging of the rack mounting kit.
For information on mounting of the rails in the 19-inch standard rack
(for the Japanese market) please refer to the "Rack mount guide".
– General information regarding server installation in the rack is
included in the technical manual for the appropriate rack.

Positioning the server in the rack

CAUTION!
When using a lifter, the lowest two High Units (HU) have to be left unused
or used for other purposes. Start mounting the server from the third hight
unit upward counting from the bottom.
The RX900 S2 server occupies 8 Height Units (HU) in the rack. The
figure 5
show the position of the cage nuts for securing the server (1), the rail
(2), and the support bracket (3) in terms of HUs.
