CPU Memory Riser (CPUMEMR)

The baseboard can be configured with up to 8 CPUMEMR. Each CPUMEMR
includes one processor and can be equipped with up to 16 DIMM memory
modules.
There are two ways to expand the main memory:
Filling the empty slots of an already installed board
Installing an additional memory board
I
The number and location of available PCIe slots depends on the
CPUMEMR configuration. Make sure that the selected CPUMEMR
configuration enables you to use the PCIe slots needed for the individual
use case of the server. For the assignment of CPUMEMRs to PCIe slots
see
figure
1.
For detailed information on main memory configuration rules see "Baseboard
D3144, CPUMEMR D3145, PCIR D3146 for PRIMERGY RX900 S2 Technical
Manual".
Processors
Each CPUMEMR has a socket for one Intel Xeon E7-8800 (Westmere-EX)
processor with up to 10 cores (up to 130W). You may only use processors of
the same type; all processors must have the same frequency and cache size.
For latest information on supported processors see the configurator of the
server:
