Hardware installation
The figure 12 shows the standard connectors on the rear. The symbols and the
color code are explained in
Figure 12: Connectors on the rear

Ê Connect the data cables to the server and peripherals.

Connect keyboard and mouse via USB. There are no separate PS/2
connectors for them.
Connecting the monitor
Ê Plug the data cable for the monitor into the video connector on the server.
Please use the video connector on the rear to connect the main monitor.
This connector is used to read the default screen solution. The video
connector on the front can be used for temporary tasks.
Ê Connect the power cable of the monitor to a grounded power outlet of the in-
house mains and/or into the mains socket strip of the rack.
