Important considerations when driving with
a compact spare wheel:
• The car's ground clearance is reduced.
• The car must not be driven with more than
one compact spare wheel at a time.
• Avoid driving against the kerb.
• Do not use snow chains.
• Do not fit the wheel cover as this would
conceal the warning text.
If the car is equipped with a trip computer,
you can use the "Speed warning" func-
tion, since you must not exceed 50 mph
(80 km/h).
Tyre repair kit 3
On certain markets, the spare wheel has
been replaced by a tyre repair kit. Using this
repair kit, the punctured tyre can be tempo-
rarily repaired and inflated without having to
remove the wheel. See page 223.
Warning triangle 3
Stow the warning triangle far in on the right-
hand side of the luggage compartment.
If the luggage compartment if full, it is eas-
iest to reach the warning triangle by folding
down the narrow part of the rear seat and
reaching it this way. Folding down the rear
