Setting the Sleep Timer

The printer has a sleep timer to conserve power when the
printer is not printing, processing, or receiving data. You can
adjust the timer value, the length of time the printer waits
before entering sleep mode in the absence of data.

The default setting of the sleep mode is On (enabled).
