The following describes the details of the setup items.
LAN:
Refers to the LAN interface.
WAN:
Refers to the WAN interface.
Routed:
[Enable] enables RIP.
[Disable] disables RIP.
Mode:
The Tainet WANpro 2000 can execute passive or active RIP.
When executing passive RIP, the Tainet WANpro 2000
revises its routing table based on the routing update
information it receives, but does not advertise self-routing
information to other routers. When configured for active RIP,
the WANpro 2000 acts as a full router; it not only listens for
updates but also advertises it
every 30 seconds.
[Passive] enables passive RIP.
[Active] enables active RIP.
Send_Ver:
Controls the version(s) of RIP advertisements. Available
with active RIP only.
[OFF]

Recv_Ver:
Controls the version(s) of RIP updates that are accepted.
[OFF]

Controls the spilt horizon and poison reverse mechanisms.

Enables the version of RIP-2 upgrades that
are accepted
Enables the versions of RIP-1 and RIP-2
upgrades that are accepted.

Disabled
Enables and specifies the number of hops to
a destination.
