2.2 Applications

The application of the Tainet's WANpro 2000 is broad. It is based on the
LAN and WAN network connectivity over a wide range of telephone line
distances and transmission line qualities. The Figure 2.1 has shown the
connection of the WANpro 2000 via the backbone of various DCE devices
to the Internet or Intranet Applications.
Nowadays, network access devices are not only required to provide reliable
service but they also strongly depend on well-developed network
management system. A solution of the embedded SNMP agent for Tainet's
device is planned to manage more efficiently at the central office and
remote office.
