10.1.11 spanning-tree configuration revision

This command sets the Configuration Identifier Revision Level for use in identifying the configuration that
this switch is currently using. The Configuration Identifier Revision Level is a number in the range of 0 to
65535.
▫ Default 0
▫ Format spanning-tree configuration revision <0-65535>
▫ Mode Global Config
10.1.11.1 no spanning-tree configuration revision
This command sets the Configuration Identifier Revision Level for use in identifying the configuration that
this switch is currently using to the default value, i.e. 0.

10.1.12 spanning-tree edgeport

This command specifies that this port is an Edge Port within the common and internal spanning tree. This
will allow this port to transition to Forwarding State without delay.

This command sets the Force Protocol Version parameter to a new value. The Force Protocol Version
can be one of the following:
▫ 802.1d - ST BPDUs are transmitted rather than MST BPDUs (IEEE 802.1d functionality supported)
▫ 802.1w - RST BPDUs are transmitted rather than MST BPDUs (IEEE 802.1w functionality
supported)
▫ 802.1s - MST BPDUs are transmitted (IEEE 802.1s functionality supported)
▫ Default 802.1s
▫ Format spanning-tree forceversion <802.1d | 802.1w | 802.1s>
