FILE SHARING AND APPLICATION SERVICES TABS
File Sharing
These tabs allow you to activate or deactivate sharing and applications protocols on your device on global or
default levels. There are three levels of service activation: global, default, and share (specific). The global level
overrides the other levels. If a service is activated at the global level, a green light will be listed in the Status
column. The share level overrides the default level but not the global level. Go to
service at the share level.
Click the configuration icon (pencil) for a given protocol to:
1. Activate or deactivate the protocol at the global level.
2. By default, services are active for newly created shares. Deactivate or activate a service at the default level
by clicking on the configuration icon (pencil) and selecting Advanced parameters.
