Note on LaCie NAS discovery: If Wuala cannot find your compatible LaCie NAS, please confirm that your
company's firewall permits the following:
Multicast UDP
Group = 224.0.0.1
Port = 4448 (in and out)
TCP is enabled for port 18811 (out only)
Proxy server configured for your LaCie NAS (if applicable)
At home:
Wuala.exe must be authorized by your Windows Firewall or by third-party security software.
In most instances, a consumer router does not require specific rules. If you cannot connect to your LaCie
NAS using a consumer router, please review its user manual and/or check with your internet provider.
Important info on Remote Access: Users on your company network can access public folders on the
LaCie NAS using the Wuala interface. However, the administrator must invite users to give them remote
access to the LaCie NAS via Wuala (see

You may configure your LaCie NAS once it has been added to your Wuala account. Access is available anywhere
with a connection to the internet providing that:
